Description
Williston Trinity Christian School, a multi-denominational Preschool-12th grade Christian school located on one campus in Williston, ND, enrolls approximately 250 students and is seeking an Activities Director beginning in the 2026-27 school year. The position may be combined with teaching responsibilities or other duties. Depending upon an applicant's experience and fit in other roles, a part-time administrative assistant may be available.

Requirements
Job Title: WTCS Activities Director
Supervisor: High School Principal
Job Description: The Activities Director, under the direction of the Secondary Principal, and in collaboration with MS/HS faculty and other staff, plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates the activities and athletic programs, ensuring compliance with the North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) regulations and the WTCS student handbook. They contribute directly in meetings of the school-wide leadership team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Maintain the master schedule and calendar for all activities/athletics including but not limited to volleyball, basketball, track, and cross country, and overseeing cooperative arrangements with schools offering other sports.
a. Coordinate and communicate practice schedules
b. Coordinate and communicate all other activities logistics
2. Represent the school and liaise with various organizations including but not limited to NDHSAA
i. Ensure compliance with all activities-related policies and procedures (Coaches' Handbook, Student/Family Handbook)
ii. Manage athletics portion of website: (Team photos, rosters, schedules, etc.)
iii. Manage registrations and fees
iv. Manage and host tournaments
v. Represent the district, region, and state in all activities
vi. Attend meetings as scheduled
vii. Manage co-op partnerships
viii. Liaise with Department of Health for COVID 19 related issues
ix. Attend district, regional, and state tournaments/events
3. Coordinate the coaching staff for all activities
a. Obtain references, perform background checks, hire, train/orient, observe, mentor, and evaluate coaches and activity leaders
b. Ensure stipends are appropriately processed at the conclusion of each season c. Oversee maintenance of accurate inventory at start/end of seasons
d. Oversee care and maintenance of athletic facilities
e. Oversee communication with media/news organizations
f. Annually evaluate and revise coaches handbook
4. Hosting and supervision of events
a. Be the lead supervisor at all home games/events and recruit, delegate, and assign paid staff or volunteers for:
i. Gate entry, school store/concessions, announcers, music, entertainment, scorers tables duties, site setup, officials/referees, etc.
b. Coordinate all fundraising activities with classes/advisors, including but not limited to
i. Concessions, PTO, bake sales, pie sales, pop-shots, etc.
c. Coordinate transportation to all away events
d. Conclude events ensuring all students are off campus or under the supervision of a WTCS employee.
5. Coordinate the activities budget overseen by the Business Manager
a. Purchase equipment and uniforms
6. Enforce all school policies especially those related to
a. Athletics
b. Eligibility
i. Communicate ineligibility list in a timely manner with coaching staff
7. Oversee activities-related awards ceremonies and maintain appropriate records and documentation
8. Respond promptly to stated concerns and email communication
