Description

Required Qualifications:

Passion for serving God in the context of Social Studies and education
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, History, or related field
Valid Teacher Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)
Have or willing to receive training for AP History courses
(Must be able to meet necessary requirements for ACSI certification)

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years of successful teaching experience
Prior experience in an international school
Master’s Degree in Education, History, or related field
Ability to teach multiple AP courses (AP World History, APUSH, & possibly others) as well as Middle School and regular High School Social Studies courses

Valid or can obtain ACSI teacher certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Two or more years of successful teaching experience
Prior experience in an international school
Master’s Degree
Valid US State Teaching license or equivalent
Understanding of Common Core Standards
Experience with English Language Learners and diverse community
Trained in AP Comparative Government

Role Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Teaches Social Studies courses for both middle school and high school students
Collaborates with department, middle and high school teams, and administration around student progress
