LIFE International School is an exciting new venture to reach Spain with the love of Christ and the Gospel through Christ-centered education. It opened in 2017 with nine preschool and kindergarten students. In 2025, our enrollment surpassed 115 students for the first time, reaching students in preschool through grade eleven. LIFE will celebrate its very first graduation ceremony in the spring of 2026. Our board has a vision for starting multiple schools around Spain. We are already seeing the fruits of the impact that LIFE is having in the community. God is working in the lives of families. LIFE International School is seeking an Art Teacher for our school in Tres Cantos, Madrid, Spain. Teaching responsibilities may vary depending on the qualifications and preferences of the candidate, but will likely include teaching both elementary and secondary art. It is likely that the candidate would be asked to teach additional courses in areas outside of art because we are still a young school and filling a schedule with just art classes is unlikely at this time. In future years, as the school grows, the amount of time dedicated exclusively to teaching art is likely to increase. All instruction is in English.
Requirements
General Qualifications
- A deep commitment to Jesus Christ through a personal relationship with Him
- A calling to ministry in and through education
- Effective oral and written communication
Professional Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Education and/or Art (or a related field)
- Holds current teaching certification and/or holds or willing to obtain ACSI teacher certification
- Training in working with English Language Learners (preferred)
