Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Administration
Provide day-to-day oversight of all school operations.
Supervise faculty, staff, and department directors.
Lead in scheduling, hiring, budgeting, admissions, and compliance.
Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of all school facilities.
Academic Oversight
Maintain high academic and spiritual standards across all grade levels.
Oversee curriculum development and alignment with biblical principles.
Expand advanced offerings such as AP and dual enrollment programs.
Manage accreditation and student financial aid processes.
Spiritual Leadership
Foster spiritual growth among staff, students, and families.
Lead faculty devotions, chapel services, and times of prayer.
Oversee Bible curriculum and maintain spiritual accountability among staff
Development & Community Relations
Build strong partnerships with parents, donors, and churches.
Lead fundraising, establishing a donor base, alumni relations and mentor programs.
Encourage family involvement and open communication.
Church Partnership
Collaborate closely with the Senior Pastor and church leadership.
Represent the school in board meetings, church services, and community events.
Strengthen the partnership and shared mission between the church and school.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Meet the biblical qualifications of a pastor/elder (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1, 1 Peter 5).
A man who is humble, teachable, fears God and trembles at His Word.
Hold a high view of God, the sufficiency of Scripture, the church, and God’s sovereignty in salvation.
A member of Westover Baptist Church in full agreement with its statement of faith.
Committed to partnering with parents and churches in the discipleship of students.
Demonstrated leadership ability, administrative excellence, and giftedness in teaching and shepherding.
Holds a master’s degree or higher and a deep passion for Christian education.
Proven ability to oversee and develop staff.
Skilled in building relationships with families and fostering community.
Serves under the leadership of the Senior Pastor and in unity with the church elders.
Willing and able to maintain administrative certification through ACSI.
