Join the Christian Academy of Guatemala (CAG) as our Chaplain and play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual lives of our staff, students, and families. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to foster evangelical Christian spirituality within our Christ-centered community.
As Chaplain, you will:

• Lead and develop impactful spiritual formation programs, including Chapel Services, discipleship groups, retreats, and Spiritual Emphasis Week.
• Offer compassionate spiritual support, guidance, and engagement to both students and staff.
• Collaborate with the Bible Department on curriculum development, ensuring a cohesive spiritual thread throughout our academic program.
• Undertake some administrative responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits:

• A monthly stipend of $1300 (US).
• This is a missionary position requiring personal fundraising for remaining living expenses. 
• Significant tuition reduction for the Chaplain's children. 
• Opportunities for the Chaplain's spouse to apply for open teaching positions.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Meets the biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3:2-7.
• Possesses a strong understanding of Christian educational principles.
• Has proven experience in leading and organizing spiritual programs.
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ideally holds a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Theology, Divinity, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
