Brief Description
Hope Academy of Bishkek is seeking a qualified and motivated CP / AP Statistics Teacher & CP/AP Micro/Macroeconomics teacher to join our secondary team for the 2026–2027 academic year. The teacher will deliver College Preparatory (CP) and Advanced Placement (AP) courses in Statistics and Economics (Microeconomics and Macroeconomics). The successful candidate will foster strong analytical thinking, data literacy, and economic reasoning skills, while preparing AP students for College Board AP examinations. This role requires instructional excellence, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse international school environment.
Purpose of the Position:
- Reinforce and uphold the mission and vision of Hope Academy in all instructional and professional activities
- Create a positive, safe, and academically rigorous learning environment
- Deliver CP and AP-level instruction aligned with College Board curricula for:
- AP Statistics
- AP Microeconomics
- AP Macroeconomics
- Prepare students for college-level coursework and AP examinations using data analysis, graphs, models, and applied problem-solving

Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum two (2) years of teaching experience
- AP teaching experience and/or College Board AP certification preferred
- Teaching certification preferred (especially for expatriate staff)
- Strong analytical, instructional, and classroom management skills
- Proficiency with educational technology (Google Workspace, Moodle)
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, flexibility, and integrity
