GEC School is a dynamic and fast growing private christian charter school that strives to develop students academically, physically and spiritually based on the Biblical truths and values. The kindergarten through 8th grade teacher at GEC School is to live and teach in such a way so that students are led to righteousness in every area of life, including academic and personal life. It is the teacher’s responsibility to develop the mind of Christ in students through academically and social pursuits.  

GEC School runs on a four day a week schedule. The fifth day(Fridays) are for remote learning which allows teachers a full day of planning. 

Requirements

     Undergraduate degree required, graduate level preferred

     Previous classroom experience preferred

     Maintain a valid Ohio Department of Education teaching certificate or license in assigned field

     Ability to take initiative, work independently, and hold oneself accountable

     Ability to develop original ideas, finding solutions to challenges, willingness to work with others and collaborate with other staff

     Able to take direction, receive suggestions and to be challenged
