ECA is always looking for Elementary teachers who are committed to the Lord and committed to teaching and investing in students. Depending on when you arrive, there are various needs and grade levels you could help fill, even during this Fall 2025.  

ECA is a school in Madrid, Spain, whose primary mission is serve missionary families by equipping students in the academic disciplines, challenging them to love God, apply his truth, and care for others. Teaching at ECA gives you the opportunity to invest in students and disciple them. Class sizes are small, so there are many opportunities to interact with the kids inside and outside the classroom, whether it be through Student Council activities, class parties, concerts and recitals, or school trips. We are always looking for qualified and committed teachers to come join our team! Our vision and desire is to inspire and equip our students to make an impact on the world though Christ.

Requirements

• Be committed to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Be involved in and have the endorsement of a local church.
• Affiliate with a sending agency.
• Complete the online Prospective Teacher Profile and Application for Employment.
• Hold a four-year degree, preferably a B.A. in Elementary Education
• Have a love for kids, a “team player” mentality, and a spirit of humility, flexibility and service.
• Come prepared to enjoy the challenges and joys of a wonderful, cross-cultural ministry!
