Description
If you have a heart for missions, a passion for transformational teaching and a slight sense of adventure: Welcome to Acacia International School. Although we are based in Uganda, the classroom environment would be familiar to teachers coming from the States. We follow an American curriculum, almost all the students come from English speaking families, the school provides iPads and overhead projectors. The teacher has a full time Ugandan assistant and about twenty students in her charge.
The school pays a modest salary, flights, medical insurance and furnished housing; enough for a single person to live comfortably.
Requirements
- Teaching degree is required.
- ACSI or state certification is required.
- Teaching experience is normally required.
- International teaching experience/life experience is a plus.
