Description

The English teacher would be responsible for teaching 7th and 8th grade English language and literature. They would also Teaching Middle School students and supporting English Language Learners.

We are seeking someone to work with middle and high school ELL students - primarily French and Korean speaking. You would work with students in and outside the classroom to improve their competency in academic English as well as supporting teachers with strategies and supplements to best help their students succeed. There would also be the potential to teach separate classes for ELL students in language and literature or TESOL preparation or to aid students and teachers at the affiliated elementary school.

Requirements

Dedication to pursuing excellence as a teacher and Christian role model. Ability to integrate a biblical worldview into classroom instruction. Bachelor's degree required. Good computer skills. Good organization and problem-solving skills.
