LCCS is seeking a Middle & Upper School Principal teacher for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates should share our passion for Christ, teaching, excellence, and leadership. A Master's degree in educational leadership or related field, or distinguished experience in educational leadership will be considered.

The Middle & Upper School (MS/US) Principal is responsible for executing the general policies and programs of Lancaster County Christian School (LCCS) as adopted by the Board. This individual reports directly to the Head of School (HOS) and is responsible for the detailed daily organization of the MS/US education program at LCCS.
Responsibilities
Lead, in cooperation with the administrative team, in the development of the school’s overall education program with specific attention to the MS/US
Direct and assess MS/US student academic and behavioral development and take the necessary remedial steps in addressing student needs
Work with faculty to address the spiritual, educational, behavioral, social, and emotional growth of the students
Work with faculty in the implementation of the instructional program
Direct and evaluate the work of the professional personnel under your supervision
Serve as the administration contact working with the Assistant Principal for discipline/behavior issues in the MS/US
Encourage regular communication among MS/US parents, teachers, and students
Maintain necessary records and make reports as required by the HOS
Assist the HOS and/or Curriculum Coordinator in the development of the curriculum and the maintainance of current courses of study
Assist in the selection of new textbooks, teaching aids, and related materials
Facilitate the development and offering of new programs
Participate in the interpretation and execution of Board policies
Assist the HOS in the recruitment, screening, and selection of professional personnel at the MS/US level
Assist in programs of orientation and regular in-service for professional and non-professional staff
Assist in the preparation and dissemination of information to the various school stakeholder groups
Oversee/coordinate activities and events within the MS/US
Work with the Director of Academic Operations on student and teacher schedules
Perform any other assignments as directed by the HOS
Requirements
Strong testimony of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Project a positive and cheerful disposition
Possess a master’s degree in educational leadership or related field, or distinguished experience in educational administration
Achieve at least a Standard rating for ACSI certification
Demonstrate strong communication skills
Possess strong G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and general computer skills
Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
