We are seeking a full-time fifth grade teacher. Fifth grade presents a great opportunity to engage in biblical truths while applying those truths to student passions and cultural norms. Our curriculum, culture, and staff work together to support these aims and help foster Christ followers. In addition, our teachers are also encouraged and equipped to express their unique God-given passions upon the curriculum and the classroom as they teach the students academically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. Freedom, flexibility, and partnership are values that enable our teachers to love working at NCCS. 

About New Covenant Christian School (NCCS): First and foremost, New Covenant seeks to partner with Christian families to disciple their children. We do so through our relationship-discipleship model. Academically, we follow the Trivium of classical Christian education, which emphasizes reading in the elementary stages. Requirements

Some Job requirements include:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Confession of faith
• Adhere to our statement of faith and character requirements (provided upon request)
• Attend a local church
• While formal teaching experience is preferred, experience working with children is required.

In addition, our teachers must:

• Lesson plan
• Clearly and quickly communicate with parents and administrators
• Be able to teach to various learning styles
• Update an online gradebook
• Keep an organized and clean classroom
• Be willing to learn and be flexible
