Description

Be the primary teacher for a Grade 5/6 combination classroom, teaching math, science, English language arts, social studies, and Bible, among other subjects.  Be a part of seeing the Gospel reach the unreached people groups of Mexico.  This is at a school for missionaries' children in Chihuahua, Mexico, about 4 hours from El Paso, Texas.  Teachers are considered missionaries and financial support raising is required. However, low cost, fully furnished housing is available for around $300 USD per month all utilities included.

Requirements

• Prepare and implement lesson plans according to the school’s curriculum guidelines
• Appropriately manage the classroom & student discipline as necessary
• Attend staff meetings, in-services, and school functions
• Be willing to participate in some administrative duties as required of all staff
• Be willing to be trained in a Christian philosophy of education and meeting the needs of third culture kids (TCKs)
• Have a heart for missions and seeing the Gospel reach the unreached people groups of Mexico
• Due to unique nature of this ministry, applicant must be a native English speaker
