- Guidance Counselor
Description
The Guidance Counselor would oversee students’ course selections, grades, external exams, graduation credits, and university readiness. They would seek to encourage students to work to their full academic potential and to support families as they explore post-graduation opportunities for their children. In addition, the guidance counselor will work with the administrative team and teachers as they oversee the class advisory program. Applicants should possess administrative skills as well as an ability to work with computer applications (familiarity with FACTS preferred but not required).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required. Good computer skills. Good organization and problem-solving skills. Clear understanding of the requirements that RFIS must maintain for accreditation and for students who graduate or move to another school.
