High School Girls Volleyball Coach
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time
Location: North Central Texas Academy, Granbury, Texas

North Central Texas Academy is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated High School Girls Volleyball Coach to lead our student-athletes in developing their skills, teamwork, and competitive excellence. The ideal candidate will emphasize academic success and uphold the school’s mission and values. 

North Central Texas Academy is a private, accredited (ACSI and COGNIA), Christian college-preparatory, day, boarding, and international school. 

This role can be structured as either part-time (seasonal coaching duties only) or full-time (coaching combined with additional responsibilities such as teaching, athletics support, or campus duties).

Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and conduct effective volleyball practices and training sessions.
Teach fundamental skills, advanced techniques, strategy, and game awareness.
Oversee aspects of team management, including athlete evaluation and roster decisions.
Develop game plans and manage in-game decision-making during matches and tournaments.
Ensure player safety, injury prevention, and proper use of equipment.
Communicate regularly with athletes, parents/guardians, and school administration.
Coordinate scheduling, travel, uniforms, and equipment needs.
Promote academic responsibility and support student-athletes in maintaining eligibility.
Serve as a mentor and role model both on and off the court.

Requirements

Qualifications
Required: Knowledge of volleyball rules, skills, strategies, and coaching techniques; Strong leadership and communication skills; Ability to create a positive, supportive environment for student-athletes; CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain); Ability to pass background and fingerprint checks per school regulations.

Preferred: Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level; Experience playing competitive volleyball; Teaching certification or willingness to take on additional school duties (for full-time role).
