Description
School Information: Cairo Covenant School is a non-profit ministry, which provides a Christian education for children of Christian workers and lay persons in the Cairo area. The course of study is based on an American curriculum. We also use the rich Egyptian historical and cultural heritage to enhance our children’s educational experience. The Head of School's responsibilities are to oversee teachers and support staff in order to fulfill the vision and mission of CCS by providing an excellent, Christ-centered educational experience primarily for Third-Culture, English-speaking international students between grades KG-12. The Head of School is the "face" of CCS to all stakeholders including staff, the school board, students, parents, and the community.

Financial options:
- Fully or partially supported through a sponsoring organization or church
- The school can provide a stipend toward the Head of School’s monthly support for those who may need this assistance. The rate of stipend is dependent on degree, certification, and years of teaching/administrative experience.
Agreement: Five school years or more
Spiritual Commitment: The Head of School will carry out his/her professional and personal life in harmony with the CCS vision and mission statements, exemplified by:
- demonstrating the fruit of the Spirit and godly character resulting in integrity, fairness, and ethical behavior as defined by the Bible.
- living with the utmost integrity in business, finance, human resource and ethical matters.
- consistent participation in a local church.
- displaying a life that will role model Christian character for CCS staff, students and their families.
- committing to ongoing Christian ministry, both inside and outside CCS.
- displaying a spirit willing to listen and appropriately include the views and counsel of others.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in education or administration
- 5-year minimum experience as a Christian school administrator in an American curriculum context
- Native speaker of English
- International and cross-cultural experience (preferred)
- Meets ACSI and/or State certification requirements
- Sponsored by a recognized sending agency
