Description: New Hope Christian Academy is looking for a qualified visionary to lead the organization as the Head of School. The Head of School is the Chief Executive Officer. He/She is responsible for the overall operation of the school and answers to both the School Board and the Lead Pastor. The Head of School oversees all operations along with visionary/strategic planning and execution. Candidates must demonstrate a strong desire for personal spiritual growth as well as a vision to see the organization grow spiritually. New Hope Christian Academy is a chartered, nonpublic school serving approximately 300 students ages 18 months through 12th grade. The school is located in the rural community of Circleville, Ohio. 

General Responsibilities: 

Development, review, and implementation of the Mission, Vision, Values, and Outcomes in partnership with all stakeholders

Development, review, and implementation of a Strategic and Continuous Improvement Plan

Lead a team of administrators in the daily operations of ELC-12th grade

Establish and maintain community and business partnerships to develop awareness and support of the school 

Stay informed and involved in local, state, and national issues related to New Hope - Connect with current and recruit new families 

Network and secure a variety of resources 

Positively represent Christ and New Hope in the community 

Requirements

Potential Skill Set Needed: 

Great people skills, relatable 

Able to establish trust with staff and families 

Understanding of school finance but also private business finances 

Willingness to network outside of NHCA 

Capital campaign experience 

Skill set in proven fundraising 

Understands student development - emotional, spiritual, and cognitive 

Understands community dynamics in working with a county of strong public school traditions 

Willing to not isolate behind the walls of NHCA 

Knowledge of best practices for teaching and learning and curriculum
