Job Title: Secondary Math Teacher

Reports to: Head of School/Secondary Principal

Hours: Full-time, non-exempt

General Description

Faith Christian School is seeking a qualified teacher with a strong Christian commitment to teach, influence, train, and guide students in High School Math for the 2nd semester of the current school year and beyond. 

Responsibilities:

Provide Classroom instruction in High School Math 

Requirements

Desired Candidate Qualifications: 

Has a vital relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
Bachelor’s degree in Education from an accredited college or university
Has strong organizational skills

Candidate Qualities:

A teacher who is skilled at mentoring and modeling for his/her students what it means to be a follower of Christ
A teacher who is intellectually and professionally curious, interested in becoming an expert in his or her field
A teacher who is ready to integrate vibrant faith with excellent academics, while providing a safe and healthy classroom environment
