Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. You will teach English Language Composition and Comprehension, Literature, and Writing, while fostering both academic and spiritual growth in students. We offer a salary plus free housing, utilities, phone, internet, and health and dental care insurance. Also, the first and last air flight costs are covered.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English Language Composition, Literature, and Writing, focusing on comprehension, critical thinking, and creative expression.
- Design and update lesson plans and curricula aligned with TEKS, Common Core standards, the school’s mission and guidelines.
- Incorporate a variety of teaching tools and methods, including educational software, technology, and interactive activities.
- Assign engaging homework and exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
- Create, administer, and grade assignments and exams to assess student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance, grades, and development.
- Provide constructive, growth-oriented feedback to encourage improvement and confidence.
- Foster a Christ-centered classroom environment that models Christ-like behavior and promotes respect, safety, and inclusivity.
- Encourage active participation, critical thinking, and creativity through dynamic teaching strategies.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to support students’ academic, social, and spiritual growth.
Requirements
- A calling to serving Christ through education, holding a bachelor's degree in English (preferably with a teaching certificate from a Christian teaching college in the U.S. or Canada).
- A strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grounded in the Word.
- A commitment to modeling Christlike behavior in and out of the classroom.
- Native English speaker.
