First Baptist Brandon Christian Academy is seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary/Middle School Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a personal relationship with Jesus, with a strong commitment to fostering a Christian learning environment for children. This role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's educational journey. Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
• Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive educational community.
• Assess student performance through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to encourage growth.
• Support early intervention strategies for students who may require additional assistance in literacy education or other subjects.
• Organize and maintain classroom resources, including library services, to create an enriching learning environment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Education or a related field is preferred)
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and effective communication.
• Familiarity with learning technology tools that enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Knowledge of early intervention techniques and literacy education strategies is a plus.
• Excellent proofreading skills to ensure clarity and accuracy in instructional materials. 
• A passion for educating young minds and a commitment to fostering their growth spiritually, academically and socially.
