LEAD ADMINISTRATOR JOB DESCRIPTION
The Lead Administrator is the point leader of Clinton Grace Christian School and has oversight of all areas of the School ministry. The Lead Administrator shall lead the school, implementing the policies and directives of the School Board and Church Elder Leadership Team. The Lead Administrator shall supervise, support, encourage, and assist the other administrators in their work. The Lead Administrator shall be responsible for the supervision of the school under the direction of the School Board and the Senior Pastor which are operating under the authority of the Elder Leadership Team.

Character
Publicly professes to be a believer in Jesus Christ and lives a life that reflects a mature faith and genuine relationship with God.
Agrees with the Statement of Faith of the Charis Fellowship
Is now a member of, or is willing to become an active member of, Clinton Grace Church
Displays wisdom in the handling of personal and professional finances.
Does not display divisive or inappropriate posts on social media.
Educational/Professional
Proper educational credentials are required. A Master or Doctorate Degree in Education or Educational Administration is preferred.
The Candidate must have classroom and administrative experience.
The Candidate must have a proven background in educational leadership, ideally in Christian organizations.
The Candidate should have obtained, or be able to apply for, an ACSI Administrator’s Certificate.
Responsibilities
Administrative
Maintaining the school according to the standards of academic accreditation and licensing by the State and County.
Maintaining the school in harmony with the spiritual standards of the church.
Working with the Upper and Lower School Principal to develop and oversee the education program, including spiritual education and curriculum used by teachers.
Administration, promotion, registration, and record-keeping.
Endeavoring to secure spiritually and educationally qualified teachers.
Employing and terminating all personnel in consultation with the School Board, which is operating under the authority of the Church Elder Leadership Team.
Approves functioning schedules for the school and personnel in cooperation with the Director of Education.
Endeavoring to win families of school children to Christ.
Financial
Work with the Executive Pastor of the Church to develop annual Budget to be approved by the School Board and Elder Leadership Team.
Overseeing the financial department of the school, expending funds according to the budget approved by the Church Council and keeping financial records of receipts and expenditures.
Fund raising from the community and benevolent organizations.
