Description

Life Academy International is seeking Learning Coaches for Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Visual and Performing Arts to support and develop our teaching staff through embedded coaching, collaborative professional learning, and classroom partnerships. This is a non-supervisory role focused on strengthening instructional practices, promoting alignment to curriculum standards, and fostering a Christ-centered learning environment.

The Learning Coaches will:

• Work closely with the Division Principal and Director of Learning to plan and implement professional development initiatives.
• Partner with teachers in the classroom to provide coaching, model effective strategies, and support standards-aligned instruction.
• Facilitate mentoring for new teachers and promote collaboration among teaching teams.
• Support the analysis and use of student learning data to close achievement gaps.
• Collaborate with the Innovation Team to integrate meaningful, technology-enhanced, and creative instructional practices.
• Maintain one teaching course to model pedagogy and remain actively engaged in student learning.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Valid teaching certification and a minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Demonstrated instructional excellence in the assigned subject area (Math, English, Science, Social Studies, or Visual & Performing Arts).
• Master’s degree or pursuit of an advanced degree preferred.
• Strong collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and support teachers effectively.
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning, including integration of innovative instructional practices.
• Christ-centered character and the ability to model integrity, humility, and respect in all interactions.
• Ability to teach one course while providing coaching and professional development support to colleagues.
• Experience with data-driven instruction, formative and summative assessment analysis, and alignment to curriculum standards.
• Willingness to engage in school-wide initiatives and work collaboratively with administration, teachers, and the Innovation Team.
