Description

1. Teach Mathematics at various grade levels using the International Baccalaureate (IB) and/or Cambridge programs.
2. Develop lesson plans that promote problem-solving, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
3. Incorporate inquiry-based learning and real-world applications of math into lessons to engage students and promote life-long learning.
4. Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities, including English as a Second Language (ESL) learners.
5. Utilize various assessment strategies (formative and summative) to measure student progress and provide meaningful feedback.
6. Encourage a growth mindset in students, helping them overcome challenges and develop confidence in math.
7. Integrate technology and interactive tools into lessons to enhance student engagement and understanding of mathematical concepts.
8. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate faith-based perspectives and values into the math curriculum, emphasizing how mathematical order reflects the truth of God’s creation.
9. Maintain a classroom environment that is structured, positive, and welcoming.
