Description

Santiago Christian School's music program is Pre-K to 12 and includes various basic music classes and electives. SCS seeks a trained and visionary Music Teacher (grades 5-12) to join a dynamic team of faculty in a growing fine arts program. SCS is committed to a vision of becoming a model for excellence in the arts in the Dominican Republic. The Music Teacher will teach a variety of music classes and collaborate with a team of teacher leaders to direct a fully staged musical theater production, in addition to having optional opportunities to teach private lessons.

Requirements

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a US state teaching license as well as evidence of an evangelical Christian faith commitment. Two years of experience is preferred and previous international teaching experience is a plus. We pay a basic salary, adequate for local living. Initial commitment is three years with generous corresponding benefits.
