Description

The PK3 teacher we are seeking will have a love for God that overflows in Christlike love for children, will share our educational philosophy of a hands-on approach to instruction, and will inspire a love of learning while encouraging and modeling productive, imaginative play, both inside and outdoors.

The PK teacher is responsible for instruction and individualized support in an ESL classroom of up to 15 students, taking into consideration the needs of the whole child; intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual.  S/he is expected to reflect the attitude of Christ in all interactions with students and peers and to nurture a classroom and school culture of love, integrity, faith, and excellence (the acronym of our school name: LIFE).

Qualifications

• Teacher training and/or previous teaching experience
• TeSOL Certification (or willingness to attain one)
• Ability to teach a Christian worldview (or willingness to learn)
• Strong approach to classroom management
• Spirit of collaboration and teamwork
