Description
As a born-again Christian with a clear testimony, the principal of Trinity Christian School serves as the spiritual and academic leader of the K–12 program. This individual provides oversight in academics, personnel, operations, and community engagement while modeling Christ-centered leadership. The principal fosters a nurturing and disciplined environment that supports both students and staff, with an emphasis on academic excellence, spiritual growth, and operational effectiveness. In partnership with the Head Administrator, the principal ensures that the school’s mission—to disciple Christian leaders who will impact the world—remains central to daily operations and classroom life.
Requirements
Vision and Mission Alignment
- Ensure leadership aligns with TCS Vision and Mission and its spiritual values.
- Inspire staff and students to work toward shared goals rooted in moral and spiritual purpose.
Instructional Leadership
1. Curriculum Design and Implementation
- Develop and maintain a high-quality, standards-aligned curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Ensure integration of diverse teaching strategies to support differentiated learning.
- Promote interdisciplinary approaches to make learning relevant and engaging.
2. Professional Development
- Mentor teachers to implement evidence-based teaching methods and innovative classroom strategies.
- Encourage a culture of collaboration among educators to share best practices.
3. Data-Driven Decision Making
- Use student performance data to guide instructional improvements and interventions.
- Monitor progress and adjust strategies to ensure every student achieves academic growth.
- Communicate findings transparently with stakeholders.
4. Student Achievement
- Set high expectations for student learning outcomes and support students in achieving them.
- Foster an environment where all students feel encouraged to excel academically.
- Address barriers to learning, such as socioeconomic challenges or learning disabilities.
Spiritual Leadership
1. Ethical Leadership and Role Modeling
- Embody values such as integrity, empathy, and service, serving as a role model for students and staff.
- Make decisions that align with the moral and ethical principles of the educational institution.
- Promote justice, equity, and inclusion within the school community.
2. Character Development
- Integrate character education into the school culture to foster traits like kindness, respect, and responsibility.
- Encourage students and staff to reflect on their values and actions regularly.
- Celebrate acts of kindness, integrity, and ethical behavior within the school.
3. Community Building
- Cultivate a sense of belonging and purpose among all members of the school community.
- Foster strong relationships between staff, students, parents, and the broader community.
- Lead efforts to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
4. Guidance and Support
- Provide spiritual guidance and emotional support to students and staff in times of need.
- Encourage mindfulness, gratitude, and reflection practices to enhance well-being.
- Celebrate and honor cultural and religious diversity, creating space for meaningful dialogue.

- Lead with compassion and accountability, ensuring both measurable outcomes and a nurturing environment for all.
Position Requirements
Master’s degree preferred, with school administrator credentials or a minimum of three (3) years of educational leadership experience.
Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active attendance and involvement at Trinity Baptist Church.
