THE SENT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (TSCS)
Principal Position – Beginning May 2026.
The Sent Christian School (TSCS) is a private Christian school hosted and founded by the Korean Central Presbyterian Church (KCPC). TSCS is licensed by the Virginia Department of Education as a religious-exempt child-care center and is an accredited member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), accredited through the Virginia Council for Private Education (VCPE).
TSCS opened its doors in Fall 2022 and currently enrolls 160 students for the 2025–2026 school year. Located at 15451 US-29, Centreville, VA, TSCS is a Christ-centered Pre-Elementary through 8th-grade school committed to nurturing students spiritually, academically, and socially.
We are seeking a principal, beginning May 2026, who will strengthen and lead our academic, spiritual, and community life in alignment with our mission.
About KCPC: KCPC, located in the same building as TSCS, is a member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Established on November 4, 1973, KCPC now welcomes approximately 4,600 weekly Sunday worship services attendees. As of 2026, the Senior Pastor is Rev. Eung-Yul David Ryoo.
Principal Role Overview: The principal serves as the spiritual, instructional, and operational leader of TSCS. This role requires a mature believer who models Christlike character, demonstrates strong academic leadership, and partners with faculty, families, and church leadership. The principal reports to the TSCS Board of Directors.

TSCS believe that our Christ-centered faith and Biblical teachings provide the strongest foundation for the education of children. Christian education in our school begins with the acknowledgment that all strengths and abilities come as a gift from God’s love. Our commitment to Christian values are displayed in our staff and teachers, and throughout our curriculum. Centered in a Biblical worldview, students will find opportunities in our school for spiritual, emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and creative growth. Ultimately, TSCS seeks to foster an identity as children being set apart from the vain philosophies of our day (Col 2:8), and then "sent" into the world by God to demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Christian and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
o Provide spiritual leadership to students, faculty, and staff.
o Oversee curriculum, instruction, and overall academic excellence.
o Recruit, supervise, develop, and evaluate faculty and staff.
o Support admissions, marketing, and community relations.
o Lead daily school operations, safety, and procedural management.
o Work under the direction and guidance of the TSCS Board.
Qualifications:
o A mature and growing Christian faith.
o Agreement with the TSCS Statement of Faith.
o Minimum of a Master’s degree (education or leadership preferred).
o 3–5 years teaching experience (administrative experience preferred).
o Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
o Understanding of Christian education philosophy and biblical worldview integration.
