Danville Christian Academy (DCA) is looking for an experienced school leader to lead and serve as a spiritual and educational role model to students, faculty and parents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of a Biblical World View, experience in educational leadership as well as a commitment to our school's mission of a 'Christ Centered Environment with Academic Excellence'. The successful candidate will have a willingness to help establish a continuous improvement system, and be eager to embrace our program's organizational structure in order to help make meaningful additions to this Christian educational system.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Continued Implementation of a Biblical World View within the classroom
Continued Implementation of the vision, mission and core values of DCA
Public Relations / Communication with the DCA Family (ie… Students, Parents, Teachers Board)
Recruit and retain qualified teachers
Manage school funds, help set the school budget, and monitor expenditures
Handle discipline problems; monitor, record, and communicate changes in student behavior
Collaborate with DCA Board of Directors to prepare reports, recommend policy/procedure
Handle time management and administrative tasks
Collaborate with staff to analyze school data for the purpose of informing professional development
