The Middle School Principal serves as the spiritual, academic, cultural, and operational leader of PCA’s Middle School. The principal shepherds students through a critical season of formation, helping them grow in Christian character, academic ownership, relational wisdom, executive function, joyful courage, and readiness for Upper School.
The Principal leads faculty, partners with parents, strengthens curriculum implementation, cultivates a healthy student culture, supports whole-student formation, and works collaboratively with the Head of School, principals, academic leadership, admissions, student support, chaplaincy, athletics, arts, and operations to advance PCA’s mission and long-term vision.
The Middle School Principal must live as a Christian role model as defined by the PCA Statement of Faith and by the policies in the PCA Employee Handbook and must have a personal testimony of accepting Jesus Christ as personal savior. The Principal models Christ-like leadership with all his/her constituents – direct reports, teachers, students, parents, fellow members of the leadership team, and leaders in the surrounding communities.
