Seeking an applicant who is called by God to serve as a Secondary English Language Art Teacher who enjoys teaching and interact with our multicultural students in English.
Responsibilities
Our Teachers are responsible for the direct instruction of students (their primary duty), as well as planning instruction and setting goals; implementing curriculum (Curriculum track and map provided); clearly and timely communicating standards, achievements, and deficiencies to students and parents; teaching good study habits; monitoring and assessing academic progress; keeping complete and accurate student academic and disciplinary records; maintaining safe and orderly classrooms; improving their own professional knowledge and skills; following the approved policies and directives from the Director; setting an example of intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, self-motivation and self-discipline for students; and modeling honesty, personal responsibility, and respect for others. The stipend for our missionary teacher is dependent upon your education and experience. Our Secondary includes 9th through 12th grades. Each grade has approximately 10-15 students.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher from a DOE or CHEA accredited university
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ; Evangelical Christian testimony with active church experience
