Role Summary: The Elementary Teacher, with a strong commitment to providing a private school education with a Biblical worldview, is responsible for educating and nurturing young children in a classroom setting. They create and implement lesson plans, assess student performance, communicate with parents, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and effective learning environment. They are intentional about showing Christ and His love through their teaching and care of the students.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and present lessons to facilitate students' understanding and application of the material. Establish a developmentally appropriate, positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that is conducive to learning Prepare and distribute learning materials. Grade assignments in a timely manner. Employ a variety of instructional aids and technological resources as well as methods and materials that will provide for the creative teaching to reach the whole student Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to spark a love for learning in our students Provide periodic updates to parents/guardians about student progress via both written reports and conferences Maintain regular and prompt attendance and grade records in Ren Web FACTS. Keep students, parents/guardians, and administration informed of deficiencies Create a positive and safe learning environment for all students and hold students accountable for conduct Maintain ASCI certification with professional development; glean from experience and ideas of peer teachers Attend all school staff meetings and scheduled professional development sessions and workshops Other duties as assigned by the Dean of Academics

Qualifications:
Review and affirm, without reservation to the Core Statements adopted by CCA include the CCA Mission, Vision, Core Values, Community Life Statement, Statement of Faith, Philosophy of Christian Education, School-wide Learning Outcomes, and Instructional Values. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in elementary education New Hampshire State Teaching License or eligibility to obtain the credentialObtain and maintain teacher certification from Association of Christian Schools International Proven experience as a teacher with a thorough understanding of best practices
