The Principal fulfills various roles to support Inter-American School. Much of the work they do is in coordination with the Director of the school. The principal is in charge of curriculum, observing teachers and recording observations of teachers while in their classrooms, handling issues in regards to student discipline, supervising teachers in regards to lesson planning and curriculum mapping, and other responsibilities as well. While the Director of the school handles the larger picture operations of IAS, the principal handles more of the day-to-day communication and operations of teachers, students, and their classrooms.

Administration, teachers, and staff are also expected to have a relationship with Christ in which they demonstrate godly behavior and set a positive example for students to follow.
