Description
The Cross Street Academy is an online Christian academy looking for a full-time middle school English and History teacher for the 2025-26 school year. You will be teaching four, 40 minute live online classes via Zoom. The teaching will be done online so you can work from home. All you need is a computer with a reliable internet connection. The Bible based curriculum is provided so you will be responsible to cover the material, but you will have discretion over the lesson plans. You will also conduct a one hour help session once a week for students in need of extra assistance.
Requirements
- Must be a believer as this is a non-denominational Christian academy with an online Bible based curriculum. We have a statement of faith on our website. www.CrossStreetAcademy.com
- At least a bachelor's degree in the target subject (or related field).
- At least 1-2 years of teaching experience
- Online teaching experience is preferable but not mandatory
- Comfortable using technology. Don't need to be an expert but at least familiar with using apps, chat rooms, screen sharing etc. There will be training sessions for teachers so teachers won't be required to learn on their own.
