School Profile
Arrowhead Christian Academy
School Overview
Arrowhead Christian Academy provides children of likeminded Christian families a biblical worldview education that invites students to receive Christ and prepares them to live for Him in the church and in the world.
Our five core values - truth, love, partnership with parents and likeminded churches, relationship, and engagement - guide decisions, both great and small.
ACA is an integral ministry of Northwest Valley Baptist Church, and functions as one of the many ministries of our church.
We offer a traditional education with student engagement being an important goal for each classroom.
School History
Toward the end of the 1990s, the Northwest Valley Baptist Church leadership was burdened to offer a local, conservative Christian school to its members as well as members of other similar churches. And Arrowhead Christian Academy opened its doors in 2000. We began as a first through eighth grade school with around 45 students. Over the next few years, we expanded to a kindergarten through twelfth grade academy and eventually grew to maintain a school population of around 130. Building expansion in 2017 and 2019 allowed the school to continue to grow to its current enrollment of approximately 250.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
We have received dual accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International and AdvancED/Cognia in 2016 and have maintained accreditation status since that time.
Over the past six years our school has almost doubled in size, reaching almost our full capacity given campus size constraints.
