The curriculum at Bethany Christian School is designed from a Biblical view of the world—a world in which God’s word is the foundation as we teach children who they are in Christ while developing in them the heart and tools to accomplish His will. Instruction materials and resources are selected that support this Biblical worldview.

Character • “Growing Christians” • to LOVE with Honor

Discipleship and character formation are a primary focus of the Bethany Christian School mission. The school’s PeaceMaker Plan, based on Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 18, trains our students how to resolve conflict. The Bible classes and weekly chapel services enable students to hear and respond to the Word of God. The monthly Head Heart Hands Award acknowledges students who demonstrate Christ-centered excellence in the key areas of the mission.

Leadership • “Servant Leaders” • To LEAD with Humility

Leadership is learned through serving others. Students are given opportunities to serve in age appropriate ways. At times they will lead; at other times, the will learn to support the leadership of others. Leaders learn to serve in their homes, at school, at church, and in the community.

Accreditation: Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), since 2008; Preschool through 8th grade.

Academic Houses

The Middle School is organized into four multi-grade level academic houses. Each house includes students in grades 6-8. Teachers serve as Heads of House; students are appointed as House Captains and Co-Captains..
