Centro Cultural Tikvah

School Overview

Centro Cultural Tikvah is a dual immersion (Spanish/English) school in Mazatlán, México founded to give students spiritual, academic, and life skills and knowledge to break cycles of poverty and help them bring about change in their community. It is still a school in its beginning stages, adding one additional grade per school year as students move to the next grade each year.

School History

Centro Cultural Tikvah opened its doors in August 2021 serving 10 first grade students. In the 2022-2023 school, year second grade was added as a new group of first graders started school at Tikvah. Most of the students have been served by desayunadores (breakfast centers) run by Iglesia Amistad Familiar throughout Mazatlán and that have then been recommended to the school through those leaders.
