School Profile
Corning Christian Academy
School Overview
Corning Christian Academy has been on mission since 1982 to equip our students through Christian education, and we believe that we have been called by God to develop the whole student, through academics, art, and athletics. We have a dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to pursuing these goals with excellence. CCA is an interdenominational school, and our staff and families come from many different churches throughout the area. Our heart also extends into our community as we strive to show the love of Christ and make a positive impact on those outside our school building through serving. Our academics begin with our preschool program, Little Lambs, which cares for 3 and 4 year olds in a safe and nurturing environment, and carries through 12th grade.
School History
CCA opened its doors as Christian Learning Center to twenty-one Kindergarten through third grade students in September 1982, and continued to add grade levels until 1989 when we offered K-12th grades.
CCA became a charter member of ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) in 1986 and registered by the NYS Board of Regents in 1991. In 1992 our Little Lambs Preschool was added, along with our summer Vacation Instruction Program.
In 2002, we changed the name from Christian Learning Center to Corning Christian Academy. In 2005, the deed to the Corporal Frank Hayes Army Reserve Center was passed from the US Department of Education to Corning Christian Academy, our current location today.
