Hope Christian Academy

School Overview

“Students attending Hope Christian Academy are educated based on the foundation of God’s unchanging Word, equipping them for a Christian life of service and leadership.“

School History

HCA has grown out of a conviction that children of Christian parents should have a school available that acknowledges and honors Biblical truth. We were originally the Happy Day Kindergarten, founded in January 1981. Grades one through three were established in 1981 with classes conducted in a private home.

In 1983, work was completed on rooms at the Evangelical Bible Church, and grades four and five were added, with expansion into grade six for the 1983 school year. Expansion into junior high was accomplished in 1994. High School was then added in 2012 and offers grades 9-12.

Although sponsored by and housed in the Evangelical Church, the school’s intent is to offer an educational opportunity to families of all Christian denominations. The school is served by a board representative of its constituents, affording opportunity and input into the education process by people from outside of the EBC congregation.
