School Overview

International Community School is a nonprofit Christian school, staffed with committed and missions minded Christians who feel called to use the platform of excellent Christian education to reach the world for Christ. ICS was founded in 1993 in Bangkok and now has close to 1100 students. ICS is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, ACSI, and the Thai Ministry of Education. We educate over 200 Missionary Kids each year (mostly on substantially reduced tuition), but also open our classrooms and our hearts to those from any faith who agree to our biblically-based teaching, curriculum, and love. ICS uses an American curriculum and offers over 20 AP courses as we prepare graduates to attend top universities around the world.

School History

ICS started out as a group of parents who were operating a co-op school in Bangkok. They decided to work with the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS) to establish a licensed and accredited international Christian school. The school started in 1993 and we have grown every year since. We separated from the NICS organization in 2003 and moved into a new purpose-built campus in 2004. Our campus has been improved and expanded as enrollment has increased.

ICS will be opening a 2nd campus in Udon Thani, Thailand in 2020 to meet the needs of missionaries, expats, and local families in the Northeast region. Throughout the history of the school, the mission has always been to use the platform of high-quality Christian education to reach the world for Christ. This remains our vision for the future.
