School Profile
IPEKA Christian School
School Overview
Founded in 1979, IPEKA Christian School was born out of the heartfelt concern of Rev. Dr. William Hodaviah Hosana, who recognised the challenges many Christian families faced in accessing high-quality Christian education for their children. On 16 July 1979, IPEKA Christian Kindergarten marked the beginning of its inaugural academic year.
Operating under the auspices of the IPEKA Foundation, the school has received steadfast support from the Synod of Gereja Kristus Yesus (GKY) in Jakarta. While we warmly welcome students and families from all faiths and cultural backgrounds, our educational philosophy remains firmly rooted in the principles and values of the Christian faith and tradition.
Today, IPEKA Christian School is proud to serve a vibrant community of over 11,000 students and 1,200 educators across 15 campuses located in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bekasi, Palembang, Balikpapan, and Makassar.
Our Christ-centred curriculum is designed to cultivate a Biblical worldview, enabling students to develop an understanding of the world that is shaped by Christian belief and moral conviction.
In addition, IPEKA Christian School collaborates with globally recognised education providers, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organisation to deliver the IB Diploma Programme, as well as Pearson Edexcel, and Wheaton’s Bible Curriculum. Our programmes are accredited by ACSI and WASC, affirming our commitment to academic excellence and faith-based learning.
