School Profile

Little Flock Christian Academy

School Overview

Our Mission Statement:
The ministry of our Christian school is to lead young people to Christ and to turn them in the way they
should go (Proverbs 22:6). With this in mind, we are committed to guiding children with a well-balanced
education emphasizing character building and leadership skills. We believe with the church, the school,
and the home working together, we can strive to make “Today’s students tomorrow’s leaders.”

School History

Members of Little Flock Baptist Church started praying in 1994 for their church to open a Christian school whose mission would be to provide “the right worldview and essential truths for life so that children may be prepared to assume their proper place in the home, the church, and the state”. On August 20, 1995, the church commissioned Little Flock Christian Academy into service. A board of directors was appointed to oversee the organization and implementation of the school during the summer of 1995. The classes began in the children’s wing of the church with half-day kindergarten through the third grade. The school moved to the church’s new activities building in April of 1997, where it enjoyed larger classrooms, a kitchen, and a gymnasium. In 1998, the school had grown to include grades K through 5. LFCA joined the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in 1999. In 2001, the school graduated it's first 8th grade class. LFCA gained full accreditation through ACSI in 2016.
