Vision Statement
Metro Christian Academy strives to be a regionally recognized Christian college-preparatory institution that is noted for its Christian culture, academic success, innovative approaches to learning, and successful programs in the arts and athletics, for the glory of God.
School History
Metro Christian Academy was founded in 1983 by a group of parents and educators who had a desire and a vision to create a non-denominational school focused on Christian values. This new school would prepare, educate, and train-up students physically, academically, and spiritually in a Christian environment with Christian teachers.
On its first day, Metro Christian Academy opened with 490 students from Kindergarten through twelfth grades and today educates close to 1000 preschool through twelfth grade students. Since the inception of Metro Christian Academy, the former Charles Mason High School building and grounds have transformed to accommodate the needs of our college preparatory school.
Metro's continued success depends on the support of those that embrace the mission and values we strive to instill through an academically challenging, Christ-based education that develops strong Christian men and women who will be future leaders, employers, parents, and citizens.
