THE LEGACY OF MILPITAS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
The story of Milpitas Christian School is one of God’s voice and His provision to see the vision unfold. In early 1973, the spirit of the Lord gave the founder of MCS a vision for the creation of a preschool that would serve as a Christ-centered outpost in Silicon Valley. Since the foundation of the MCS Preschool, God has richly blessed MCS and the surrounding community with the establishment of both Elementary and Middle School.
Preschool Enrollment: 185 full and part time students
Elementary Enrollment: 230 students
Middle School Enrollment: 115 students
Milpitas Christian School is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
THE MILPITAS CHRISTIAN DIFFERENCE
While our mission provides a firm foundation for the school, so many attributes set us apart; our intentional integration of faith and learning, ne arts, music education, physical education, technology education for all students and outdoor education for students in grades four through eight.
Once enrolled, every student and family becomes a part of the greater Milpitas Christian family. A focus on community within and outside the school walls fosters a caring, healthy, safe environment where learning can flourish and others are served.
FACULTY
As Christian role models, our teachers communicate Christian values, not simply with words, but with their lives. Over twenty- five teachers provide challenging lessons that support the mission and values of MCS. All teachers have a teaching credential. A team of dedicated instructional aides, playground supervisors, and office staff support the teachers.
PARENT TEACHER FELLOWSHIP
Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is an organization focused on supporting the MCS community. All MCS parents are considered members of the PTF and are encouraged to use their gifts to help build strong bonds between one another, our teachers, and our administration.
