Northlight Christian School is an international community in the heart of Madrid, Spain, dedicated to providing a Christ-centered, high-quality education. Our mission is to reach entire families for God by planting the seeds of the Gospel in the hearts of their children through a curriculum rooted in a Biblical worldview.

We offer a unique educational environment that integrates US Common Core standards with Spanish Competencies, delivered through an interactive, student-centered approach. With a focus on small classrooms, we prioritize foundational English language fluency alongside rigorous academic achievement.

At Northlight, we believe in educating the whole child: intellectually, emotionally, socially, and spiritually.

School History

Northlight Christian School was born from a vision to advance God’s Kingdom in Madrid by meeting a vital community need: high-quality, English-language education rooted in a Biblical worldview. This vision first took root 20 years ago in the hearts of a missionary couple; however, the project went dormant for a season as God called them to other areas of service.

Recently, God placed that same desire on their hearts once again, and a dedicated team of nine people has been assembled to bring this goal to fruition. Since 2024, this team has been faithfully following God’s calling to transform lives through Christ-centered education in Madrid, Spain.
