The OCS Purpose...
To give the students of Odessa Christian School the opportunity to gain knowledge and wisdom academically and spiritually, growing “in stature and in favor with the Lord and men” (1 Samuel 2:26). Also, to equip each student to be able to “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 1:15). To provide an atmosphere where students can express themselves in a secure and comfortable environment.
The OCS Vision...
Odessa Christian School seeks to assist parents and families in training up their children in the way they should go. Our emphasis is on sowing the seed of the gospel of Jesus Christ in each and every student through teaching of the Word, by Christian example, through authentic worship and the utilization of a biblically-based educational focus by teachers and staff who love and revere God. In addition, Odessa Christian School seeks to encourage learning through classroom instruction as well as through hands-on and experiential learning and exposure to and appreciation of Creation as the work of God’s hands. Odessa Christian School also has an emphasis on respect, manners, and lovingkindness.
School History
Odessa Christian School is the result of a God-given vision to assist the home and family by providing to students a strong academic education through a Biblical world view.
We apply the belief that education encompasses the traditional subjects of “reading, writing and ‘rithmetic”, as well as a focus on the beauty and significance of Creation, and the application and utilization of advanced classroom technology to its fullest in preparing today’s young people for success tomorrow.
What began as a surprise ministry opportunity for our founding family has exploded into an amazing Christ-centered place of education where students are growing academically, spiritually, physically, and socially. From 75 students to over 125 and now two campuses, OCS continues to see the vision sown by the Holy Spirit now reaping a harvest for our future.

Founded in 2007. Has grown from 80 students to over 125 students on two campuses, one a stand-alone high school.
