School Overview

Trinity Christian Academy, located in Parker County, Texas, is committed to providing a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education that equips students for academic success and spiritual growth. Our mission is rooted in the pillars of service, relationships, and excellence, fostering an environment where students thrive academically and spiritually, honoring God in all they do.

Founded in 1993 with just 10 elementary students, TCA quickly grew under the leadership of Dr. Marsha Barber. The school received accreditation through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and by 2001, TCA held its first high school graduation, marking the beginning of a growing alumni community.

As TCA’s enrollment increased, so did its facilities, including the opening of a new secondary building in 2011 and Barber Gym in 2012. The school also earned dual accreditation in 2016 from ACSI and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.

TCA has expanded its athletic facilities through the "Grounded in Faith, Growing in Excellence" campaign, raising over $5.3 million toward the TCA Football Eagle Stadium at the Ludwig Family Athletic Complex.

Leadership at TCA has evolved, and in 2024, Craig Smith became the fourth Head of School in TCA’s 32-year history. "TCA's future is bright and brimming with opportunity. You'll find a welcoming community and a deeply personal approach to education here," says Mr. Smith.
