Wayne Christian School was founded in 1987. As a Christ-centered community school, WCS’s mission is to assist parents in the education of their children by promoting Biblical principles and the pursuit of integrity, moral character, spiritual growth, and academic excellence to develop Champions for Christ. The founders of WCS wanted to provide families with an educational setting that would be both academically challenging and spiritually transforming.

WCS holds dual-accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
