School Overview
WCA, an ACSI accredited English-medium school, is located in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Using American curriculum in a Bangladeshi context, WCA educates about 350 students each year from grades KG through 12. The student body is 90% Bangladeshi, and also includes students from a number of other nationalities. Up to 10% of its students may be from international agencies and NGOs serving in our area. Most students come from middle and upper class Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian families. The goal of the school is to produce well-rounded students prepared for higher education in Bangladesh and around the world. Over 120 students have graduated from WCA and many have gone on to study at 30 universities worldwide.
WCA's mission in education goes beyond academics as it seeks to instill moral values, create responsible global leaders and citizens, and guide students in understanding and relating to their Creator. Through the school God gives the teachers wonderful opportunities to share their faith and build relationships with students and families.
