Description

We are seeking an elementary teacher for a full-time, in-person, teaching position at Vista Christian School. Classroom teachers are responsible for creating inspiring, enriching lessons utilizing our curriculum and standards to help students become critical thinkers and life-long learners. Teachers are also responsible for instructing and assessing students, managing classroom behavior, supporting students socially and emotionally, collaborating with other school team members, communicating with parents, and helping with various school events and functions. This teaching position begins on August 17, 2026. Teachers receive standard school and federal holidays. Salary is competitive and health benefits are included.

Requirements

Current multiple-subject credential required, or be in the process of completing your teacher program having already finished student teaching, and at least 1 year of teaching or substitute experience preferred. Candidates must be CPR/First-Aid certified within 60 days of employment. All applicants will be required to complete a written application including proof of church attendance, before hiring.
