Description

Galesburg Christian School is looking for an elementary teacher for our fourth grade. The successful candidate will have a strong desire to lead and work through the challenges of growing Christian School and will prayerfully help students learn subject matter, skills, and attitudes that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible Christian men and women to the praise and glory of God.

Requirements

The candidate shall be one who has trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.  The candidate shall be a member or regular attend and in good standing of a Christ-centered church.  He/she shall demonstrate spiritual maturity with academic and leadership abilities that will allow him/her to “train up a child in the way he should go.”  He/she shall reflect the purpose of the school which is to honor Christ in every class and in every activity.

The candidate shall be a college graduate and certified or certifiable by ACSI (Association of Christian School International) or the state of Illinois.
